DanceJam Athens is a monthly evening of freestyle dancing, located in Athens, Georgia. All are welcome - singles, couples, families. Music ranges from rock, new age, world beat, jazz, hip hop, techno, swing, Latin ... anything you can dance to - suggestions are welcome.
DanceJam is a smoke/alcohol/drug free space to enjoy dancing and movement for the fun of it - shoes are not allowed on the dance floor!
DanceJam #1 will be held at Canopy Studio on Saturday, March 31st from 8pm to 11pm. Canopy is located at 160 Tracy Street (from Prince Avenue, turn North onto Barber Street. Go over the railroad tracks, and turn left onto Tracy Street. Canopy is located on the right, after the cement plant.)
Admission to DanceJam #1 is by $5 donation, free for people aged 12 and under. All proceeds go to Canopy.
